The Error "140B" is suggesting a communications issue between your printer and the cartridge (possibly dirty). This can be resolved as follows:
-remove the ink cartridge from the printer then power the printer off
-using a Q-Tip with cleaning alcohol or warm water if you do not have any cleaning alcohol), clean out the chip of the cartridge
-use a damp cloth and pad down the inside of the printer where the chip communicates with the printer (to clean the contact area)
-let the printer and cartridge dry for at least 10-15 minutes
Then put the ink cartridge back into the printer and power the printer back on
PLEASE NOTE: do not touch the chip of the cartridge with bare hands as may damage the chip due to static electricity.
